Did you know the man who started KFC got told NO over 1,000 times before someone finally said YES?
That man was Colonel Sanders. He didn’t start out as a chicken boss. He had lots of jobs—like working on a farm and even putting out fires!
But nothing stuck. At 40 years old, he started cooking chicken at a small gas station.
People loved it, but his business kept having big problems—a fire burned his restaurant, he lost money, and even a war got in the way!
At 65 years old, he only had $105 to his name.
But instead of giving up, he took his chicken recipe on the road. He went door-to-door asking restaurants to sell it.
Over 1,000 people said NO before someone finally said YES.
That one YES turned into KFC, one of the biggest restaurants in the world!
His story teaches us an important lesson: Never give up!
Growing Your Martial Arts or Dance School is the Same!
If Colonel Sanders had stopped at the first “no,” KFC wouldn’t exist. The same goes for your martial arts school.
Many people won't ready to join the first time they hear about you.
They need:
✔️ Follow-ups 📩 (People forget—remind them!)
✔️ Trust-building 🤝 (They need to feel comfortable first.)
✔️ Reminders 📲 (Sometimes, they just need a little nudge!)
If you only ask once and stop, you might be missing out on great students!
3 Easy Ways to Keep People Interested 🌍🥋
1️⃣ Send Friendly Emails 📩
Once a month, send out fun emails with class stories, student wins, and easy tips. Even if they’re not ready now, they’ll remember you when they are!
2️⃣ Stay Active on Social Media 📲
Ask leads to follow your Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. Post pictures, short videos, and tips for beginners. If they keep seeing your school, they’ll feel like they’re already part of it!
3️⃣ Invite Them to Fun Events 🎟
Send a simple message like:
“Hey [Name], we’re having a fun class on Saturday! Want to come try it?”
It makes them feel welcome and gives them another chance to say YES!
The Secret? Keep Going!
✅ Stay in touch
✅ Show them you care
✅ Follow up more than once
Just like Colonel Sanders turned a thousand NOs into a big YES, you can turn interested leads into lifelong students—as long as you keep showing up! 💪🔥
